Dream-in-Code

Dream-in-Code, a global coding competition, where programmers of all levels put their skills to the test. Competitors work their way through a series of online algorithmic puzzles to earn a spot at the finals, all for a chance to win the championship title and take a grand prize home.It is based on ACM style rounds that continue for 3 hours unless the information about the round states other duration time.

Appophilia

For some, the thought of creating a mobile app from scratch sounds like an uphill task full of corny, complex coding activities. But it doesn’t have to be that way! Turn on the developer mode in your phones, assemble a team of 1 or 2 developers, pick your target problem from a set of austere but entrancing themes and unleash your creativity to create mobile app solutions using Java, Kotlin or Flutter framework.

CODUo

Here, you have to participate with either your coding partner or alone to solve some algorithmic problems full of logic building and other maths mastering puzzles. Coduo will take place in two steps, one is prelims to be held on “Codechef”, and second one is finals on a platform known as “Hackerearth”. This competition is focused on testing your problem solving, logical thinking and coding skills.

We are conducting Long Challenge, a 2-day coding competition, Inspired by codechef long challenges, where programmers of all levels put their skills to the test. Participants work their way through a series of competitive programming questions to earn a spot on top of the ranking, all for a chance to win the long challenge and take a grand prize home.

“The lesser you code, the better you score" An onsite competitive programming contest where the participants don’t just need to solve the problems but write their code using the minimum number of characters. Solve the problems, optimize your code and shorten it. The shortest solution wins it all!

dConstruct

A resounding, single participant design event where the participants have to prepare a prototype in the App / Web domain depending on the theme provided to them.

  • • Theme/Topic will be announced at the starting day of equinox.

  • • Again, no plagiarisation will be tolerated.

Bug Smashing

Presented by Equinox and Sauce Labs, Bug Smashing is a debugging event for both Web and Flutter App developers. The event will take place for 4 hours starting from 18th April, 1 PM IST to 5:30 PM IST. Further rules and links for the repositories will be provided to you on our discord server. The winner of the event will be awarded ₹10K worth prize and a swag kit from Sauce Labs.

  • • You will be provided repos of projects from both web and app.A participant can choose any one or multiple repos and work on their issues
  • • 4 hour event: 1 hour to help you setup the projects locally
  • • Then once the event starts, we will open 2-3 issues related to the bugs, periodically at an interval of 30 mins. The contestants need to try and solve the issues within next half hour.
  • • The bugs will be of different levels, easy, medium and hard
  • • A special prize for one that solves a certain number of issues in both web and app repos.
